Job summary

Sherman Oaks Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to support the Subacute Unit. You will assist with activities of daily living, provide basic nursing care under the supervision of the RN in charge, and help maintain a safe, clean environment for non-critical patients.

Qualifications include current BLS (AHA), a valid CNA certificate (preferred), knowledge of medical terminology, and at least six months’ experience in an acute care hospital.

Responsibilities

The Certified Nursing Assistant in the Subacute Unit is an licensed assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
2. Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate, preferred.
3. Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred.
4. Minimum six months experience in an acute care hospital.

Pay Transparency

Sherman Oaks Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $28.75 to $28.75. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
