Job summary

Sherman Oaks Hospital, part of the Prime Healthcare family in California, is seeking a per diem Food Service Aide to support our patient meal program and cafeteria operations. You will prepare and deliver trays, service meals, stock rooms, and help maintain a clean, safe environment in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or equivalent and County-specific Food Handlers certification, with the ability to work flexible shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of patient and non patient food service duties such as preparing and delivering patient trays, servicing the cafeteria, working on tray line, stocking storage areas, preparing nourishments, dishwashing and pot washing, mopping and sweeping of floors and emptying of trash.

Pay Transparency

Sherman Oaks Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $23.00 to $26.22. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
