Job summary

Christ's Home is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to assist licensed nursing staff with resident care activities and related non-professional services to support the personal needs and comfort of residents. Positions include full-time (3-11), part-time (7-3, 3-11, 11-7), and PRN pool shifts.

Candidates should have a PA CNA certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ideally at least 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Nursing Assistant Certification in Pennsylvania.

Job description

Under general supervision, the Certified Nursing Assistant provides assistance to the licensed nursing staff by performing various resident care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the residents.

Positions Available: Full-time (3-11 shift); Part-time (7-3 shift, 3-11 shift and 11-7 shift); Pool (PRN) (all shifts)

Required Attributes: Minimum educational requirements include a high school diploma or its equivalent. Ability to read and write at a high school level is required. Active and unencumbered Nursing Assistant Certification in the State of Pennsylvania. Minimum of 1 year of experience in working within a skilled nursing facility in a long-term care facility is desired. Ability to perform the duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
