Job summary

Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant/Health Unit Coordinator to join the Progressive Care Unit. This full-time nights role supports RNs by assisting with activities of daily living, documenting in EMR, and maintaining a safe patient environment.

The position offers a 36-hour work week, shift from 6:45 pm to 7:15 am, and a sign-on bonus of up to $750. No CNA experience required; BLS and CNA license required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• No prior CNA experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living for patients.
• Maintains a safe environment for patients.
• Collects lab specimens as needed.
• Monitors intake and output.
• Documents in Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Performs other duties as assigned by the RN.

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Certified Nursing Assistant/Health Unit Coordinator in our Progressive Care Unit at Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time Nights opportunity working 36 hours per week. (645pm-715am)

The Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Registered Nurse (RN) with the care of patients who have healthcare needs including:
