Job summary

Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Progressive Care Unit for a full-time night shift (7:00pm-7:00am), 36 hours per week. You will support RNs in delivering patient care, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe environment for patients.

Requirements include a CNA license, high school diploma or GED, and CPR/BLS certification (preferred).

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN with patient care in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Support activities of daily living for patients.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients.
• Collect lab specimens as needed.
• Monitor intake and output and document in the EMR.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the team.

Position

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Certified Nursing Assistant in our Progressive Care Unit at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time Nights opportunity working 36 hours per week, 7:00pm-7:00am.

Responsibilities

The Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Registered Nurse (RN) with the care of patients who have healthcare needs including:

Additional Responsibilities Include: Patient activities of daily living Maintaining a safe environment for patients Collecting lab specimens Intake and output monitoring Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
