Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Progressive Care Unit at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) involves assisting the Registered Nurse with patient care and supporting daily needs.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED, BLS certification, and a valid CNA license. A sign-on bonus of up to $750 is offered for full-time night positions.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with patient care in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Help patients with activities of daily living.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients.
• Collect lab specimens.
• Monitor intake and output.
• Document in the EMR.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Certified Nursing Assistant in our Progressive Care Unit at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time Nights opportunity working 36 hours per week, 7:00pm-7:00am. The Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Registered Nurse (RN) with the care of patients who have healthcare needs including:

Additional Responsibilities Include:

• Patient activities of daily living
• Maintaining a safe environment for patients
• Collecting lab specimens
• Intake and output monitoring
• Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
