Job summary

CaliforniaRehabilitationInstitute in Century City/Los Angeles is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for per diem night shifts (7:00pm–7:30am). Pay rate is $26.00 per hour plus a night shift differential.

Responsibilities include vital signs, patient daily care, meals, and mobility support within an inpatient rehab hospital setting. Minimum qualifications include a CNA license in the state, hospital CNA experience, a high school diploma or GED, and BLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Hospital experience as a CNA.
• Active CNA license in the state.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, hygiene, grooming).
• Deliver meals and assist feeding; document oral intake.
• Turn and reposition immobile patients; assist mobility programs.
• Transport patients to treatment areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing, oral hygiene, shaving and hair care


• Deliver meals and snacks, feed patients who are unable to feed themselves and document oral intake


• Turn and position immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participate in mobility program


• Transport patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)


• Requires hospital experience as a certified nursing assistant


• Must have active CNA license in the state


• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
