Come join our team as a Part-Time Nights Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) at Gulf Coast Village Assisted Living. We offer a supportive work environment with hourly pay up to $17.50/hr., based on experience.

The Gulf Coast Village Campus is part of Volunteers of America National Services, serving as the Housing and Healthcare subsidiary of the Volunteers of America organization.

Schedule: 48 hours per pay period, working 11pm - 7am for 8-hour shifts. Midnight shifts include a $2.00 shift differential.

Week #1 - Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday

Position Summary:

The primary role of the Nursing Assistant is to provide residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with established procedures, under the supervision of clinical staff. The CNA reports any changes in resident condition and performs delegated duties to meet residents' physical and psychosocial needs, complying with all regulations and policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• State-approved nursing assistant course completion/certification or enrollment in such a course
• Ability to perform essential functions safely
• Ability to prioritize and follow work assignments
• Teamwork skills
• Proficiency with computers and electronic devices for documentation and communication

Essential Functions:

• Practice according to the State Nurse Practice Act and standards
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents
• Develop and follow individualized care plans
• Perform skilled interventions to achieve resident outcomes
• Report changes and update care plans accordingly
• Demonstrate competency in technical nursing skills
• Engage in assessment and teaching tailored to residents' needs
