Licensed Practical Nurse - Part-Time - 11pm to 7am

Position Details

Shift: 11pm to 7am, 16 hours per pay period
Week 1: No scheduled shifts
Week 2: Saturday & Sunday

Position Summary

The LPN performs nursing duties according to state and local laws, within the guidelines of their professional organization, and according to institutional policies. They provide nursing care under RN supervision, utilizing their knowledge of biological, social, and psychological sciences.

Qualifications

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current LPN licensure and CPR certification
• Customer service skills
• Ability to interpret residents’ charts, doctor’s orders, and care plans
• Effective data gathering regarding resident status
• IV Certification (if required)
• Knowledge of Antibiotic Stewardship, Infection Control, OSHA guidelines
• Proficiency with computers and electronic documentation
• Ability to pass drug, criminal, and employment screenings

• Ability to meet essential functions
• Effective communication with staff, families, and agencies
• Prioritization skills
