Job summary

Progressive Care Center in Canon City, CO is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for day shift on a full-time basis. You’ll work with our interdisciplinary team under an RN to deliver compassionate care and support residents, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety.

The role includes assisting with ADLs, following Care Plans, responding to calls, and helping with restorative activities. We offer competitive pay, shift differentials, paid time off, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid and active CNA certification.

Schedule: Sunday-Wednesday 2P-10P

Thursday-Saturday 2P-10P

About the Role

As a CNA, you’ll play a vital role in the lives of our residents by delivering high-quality care and support with compassion and respect. Working closely with our interdisciplinary healthcare team and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), you’ll ensure residents’ comfort, dignity, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver daily care to residents as directed by the Charge Nurse
• Support residents with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and hydration
• Ensure individual Plans of Care are followed and updated as needed
• Promptly respond to resident calls and requests
• Monitor and report changes in skin condition or signs of pressure areas
• Assist with restorative and rehabilitative activities, as assigned
• Foster a supportive and respectful environment for residents and coworkers
