Job summary

Cox Barton County Hospital in Lamar, Missouri is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant/Nurse Assistant to provide basic patient care under nursing supervision. You will take vitals, assist with bathing, dressing, and mobility, and help with linens and daily living activities.

The role supports patient safety and comfort in a day shift schedule. Qualified candidates have a Missouri CNA license and at least 3 months of inpatient or long-term care experience, or completion of related programs.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Missouri CNA License required or must obtain within 120 days of hire.
3 months experience as a nursing assistant in inpatient or long-term care setting OR completion of an Unlicensed Assistive Personnel program or fundamentals of nursing course.

Responsibilities

Provide basic patient care under nursing supervision.
Take vitals, assist with bathing, dressing and mobility.
Change linens and assist with daily living activities as assigned.
Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly.
Maintain patient safety and comfort and document care activities.

Must have MO CNA Appendix AND MO CNA license must be obtained within 120 days of hire
