Job summary

Novant Health Coastal Carolina Medical Center is looking for an OR CNA to support a collaborative surgical team. You will assist with patient preparations, transport to/from OR and recovery, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus NA I registration and NAI program completion. Long-term care experience is valued, with full-time hours and 4x10 shifts, plus strong benefits and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year preferred.
• One year Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
• Completion of NAI program, required.
• Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.
• Medication Safety - AME, required.
• NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team with preparing patients before surgical procedures.
• Transport patients safely to and from the operating room and recovery areas.
• Position patients for procedures while ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Support room setup and turnover between cases to promote efficient surgical operations.
• Stock and organize surgical supplies, equipment, and linens.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized perioperative environment.
