Job summary

Margate Health and Rehabilitation in Jefferson North, North Carolina, seeks Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) on the PM shift to join a dedicated health care team. A $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time positions is offered, and applicants must have current nursing aide certification in North Carolina.

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, CNAs will provide person-centered care, assist with activities of daily living, take vital signs, and document care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Serve meals to residents and assist with feeding as needed.

• Take and record vital signs.
• Perform patient care as directed by RN/LPN.
• Respond to patient requests and communicate needs.
• Assist in transferring residents.
• Document care records each shift.
• Assure cleanliness and dignity of residents.

We are offering a $5000 sign on bonus for full time positions. The applicant must have current nursing aide certification in North Carolina.

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supervise and assist residents with activities of daily living
• Serve meals to residents and assist with feeding as needed
• Provide person-centered care to each resident based on their care plan
• Take and record vital signs
• Perform patient care as directed by RN/LPN in a safe manner according to policy and procedure
• Respond directly to patient requests and appropriately communicate the patient's needs
• Assist in properly transferring residents
• Document records of care for every assigned resident each shift
• Assure the cleanliness and dignity of each resident
• Possess good communication skills to interact with residents, their loved ones, and other staff members
