Job summary

California Rehabilitation Institute in Century City/Los Angeles is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for part-time night shifts from 7pm to 7:30am to join our inpatient rehabilitation hospital serving brain injuries, spinal injuries, neurological disorders and orthopedic cases.

You will perform vital signs, basic daily care, meals delivery, mobility assistance, and patient transport while maintaining safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Minimum: active CNA license in the state and BLS certification.
• Experience with inpatient rehabilitation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assisting patients with personal and daily care (bathing, oral hygiene, grooming).
• Delivering meals and snacks and documenting oral intake.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients and supporting mobility programs.
• Answering patient call lights and providing services for patient well-being.
• Transportation of patients to designated areas and treatment centers.

• Assisting patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing (bed bath, chair at sink, tub and shower), oral hygiene, shaving and hair care.
• Delivering meals and snacks, feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves and documenting oral intake, including supplements.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participating in mobility program.
• Answering patient call lights and performing services that add to the physical well-being of the patient.
• Transportation of the patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
• Must have active CNA license in the state

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hospital experience
• Post offer employment testing (POETs) are completed as part of the onboarding process and are to be completed before an employee's first day of work.*
