Job summary

California Rehabilitation Institute, Century City / Los Angeles, CA, seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant for a full-time day shift (7am - 7:30pm) at our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. You will obtain vital signs, assist with daily care, deliver meals, and support mobility while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Must possess CNA license active in California.
• BLS certification or completion within 90 days.
• Preferred: high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record vital signs, height, weight and demographics.
• Assist patients with bathing, oral hygiene, shaving and hair care.
• Deliver meals, feed patients unable to feed themselves, and document intake.
• Turn and position immobile patients, assist with mobility.
• Respond to patient call lights and provide bedside support.
• Transport patients to treatment areas as required.

• Assisting patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing (bed bath, chair at sink, tub and shower), oral hygiene, shaving and hair care.
• Delivering meals and snacks, feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves and documenting oral intake, including supplements.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participating in mobility program.
• Answering patient call lights and performing services that add to the physical well-being of the patient.
• Transportation of the patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
• Must have active CNA license in the state

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hospital experience
