Job summary

California Rehabilitation Institute in Century City/Los Angeles, CA is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time nights (7pm–7:30am). The role provides direct patient care, assists with daily living activities, meals, and mobility, and supports the care team by monitoring vital signs.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in California.
• BLS or completion within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight, and demographic data.
• Assist patients with bathing, hygiene, and daily activities.
• Deliver meals, assist feeding, and document intake.
• Position immobile patients and participate in mobility programs.
• Respond to call lights and support patient comfort and well-being.
• Transport patients to designated areas as needed.

• Obtaining vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assisting patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing (bed bath, chair at sink, tub and shower), oral hygiene, shaving and hair care.
• Delivering meals and snacks, feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves and documenting oral intake, including supplements.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participating in mobility program.
• Answering patient call lights and performing services that add to the physical well-being of the patient.
• Transportation of the patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
• Must have active CNA license in the state

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hospital experience
• Post offer employment testing (POETs) are completed as part of the onboarding process and are to be completed before an employee's first day of work.*
