Job summary

Job description

Celina, TX — 10am–6pm, Tuesday–Saturday at Settlers Ridge Care Center.

Settlers Ridge Care Center, a long‑term and rehabilitative care facility, invites Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our Memory Care team. CNAs will provide daily assistance with activities, personal care, and support to residents, collaborate with the charge nurse, and help create a safe and engaging environment. Job Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort consistent with community policy.
• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
• Promote daily activities in Memory Care by working with the on‑site Activities Director.
• Advise supervising charge nurse of residents’ status at beginning and end of shift.
• Contribute knowledge of residents’ conditions/needs to resident care plans.
• Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure.
• Observe and report on residents’ conditions, and document observations as required.
• Comply with procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of residents per established policies and procedures.
• Perform moderate to heavy lifting as required.
• Ensure equipment is clean and functional.
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as needed to maintain a clean, hazard‑free environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

CNA Requirements

• State certification as a nursing assistant.
• Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant.
