Children's Hospital Colorado in Aurora, CO is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (Clinical Assistant) for the Night Shift in the Level 8 Inpatient Medical Unit, a 73-bed unit serving patients from birth to early adulthood.
You will assist with personal hygiene, vital signs, transport, and patient comfort, while aiding nursing staff in procedures and maintaining clear documentation as part of a dedicated healthcare team.
Certified Nursing Assistant (Clinical Assistant or CA) assists patients and families by supporting personal hygiene and daily living needs. The CA provides comfort, transportation, and vital sign monitoring. In addition, the CA supports and assists nursing personnel and other providers in diagnostic procedures and technical treatments and functions as a member of the healthcare team. The Level 8 Inpatient Medical Unit is a dynamic 73-bed general medical unit serving a wide variety of patient populations from birth to early adulthood. We specialize clinically in the areas of digestive health, renal disorders, infectious diseases, behavioral health, endocrine, metabolic disorders, and immune deficiencies. These patient populations challenge us to exercise critical thinking, clinical decision making, and clinical judgement. This unit recently expanded and is supporting more of an infant population.

Job Status: Full time, 36 hours per week, eligible for benefits
Shift: Night Shift, 6:45pm - 7:15am
Weekends: Every other weekend. Weekends consist of Sat/Sun. Team members must schedule themselves at least 1 Monday and 1 Friday every 4 weeks.
Holidays: All team members assigned 1 summer and 1 winter holiday pairing and will rotate each year.
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
Hourly Range: $19.18 to $28.77
Expected Range: $20.25 to $28.77
