Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

The Staff Pad has partnered with Blue Ridge Medical Center in Blue Ridge, GA, to search for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). The CNA assists licensed nursing personnel by performing patient care activities and specific tasks under the supervision of an RN or LPN, in accordance with hospital policies, philosophy, goals, and mission. The work complies with established healthcare policies and reflects the hospital's philosophy and nursing department's mission.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. Completion of a formal Nursing Assistant Program at a vocational school or hospital.
• Licenses and Certifications: CPR (AHA Course) required, current or with successful completion within 30 days of hire. CNA certification required.
• Experience: 1 year hospital or medical experience preferred.

General Duties

• Maintain professional ethics and confidentiality regarding personal, financial, medical, and employment information of patients and their families.
• Develop and maintain nursing skills through ongoing education.
• Be flexible to meet the needs of patients, the unit, and the facility.
• Report to work on time and complete responsibilities promptly.
• Assist other units as needed and accept additional duties within scope of care.
• Complete annual competency requirements and maintain open communication with nursing administration.
• Adhere to all safety policies and promote positive guest relations among patients and staff.
