Patient First in Bel Air, MD is seeking a capable assistant to support physicians and nurses in patient care. You will locate patients, obtain vital signs, triage, prepare patients for exams, and assist with lab work, phlebotomy, and sterile processing.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to hear pages, bells, and phone system.
• Willingness to work at any center due to staffing needs.
• Attend CPR classes and code drills.

Responsibilities

• Locate patients, obtain vital signs, triage, and prepare for exams.
• Operate the electronic medical record system.
• Order labs, x-ray, and supplies as directed.
• Assist nurses and physicians with patient care.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures and lab duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and restock treatment rooms.
• Report to the Charge Nurse at shift end.
• Attend staff meetings and adhere to policies.
