Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health's Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington, NC seeks a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform basic patient care on the 2 West unit during nights. Responsibilities

• Assist in admissions and orientation to the unit and hospital routines.
• Respond to patient needs with direct assistance or by reporting to the appropriate person.
• Carry out delegated care tasks to support the nursing plan of care.
• Maintain patient safety and use of equipment and supplies.
• Access medication/supply room to retrieve patient items.
• Keep the patient environment clean and stocked.
• Support cost containment and accurate charging for services.
• Participate in Education and Performance Improvement activities.
• Support HIP initiatives and patient throughput.

Observes and reports abnormal occurrences or changes in patient condition.
