Aegis Healthcare is expanding its Certified Nursing Assistant team for the Hospice Inpatient unit at Vesta House in Chandler, AZ. This full-time CNA role offers 12-hour shifts (3 days) with weekends possible and pay between $21-24 per hour, DOE.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant license in AZ.
• Home Health and/or Hospice experience as CNA preferred.
• Ability to transfer patients using full range of motion.
• Effective verbal and written communication and time management.
• Valid driver's license with clean record and reliable transportation.
• Evidence of auto insurance and vehicle registration.
• AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card (we can help).
• Current CPR certification and TB test (we can test).

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care: grooming and bathing for patients with limited mobility.
• Assist patients with eating and monitor vital signs; report changes to medical team.
• Aid in patient mobility, transfers between wheelchairs and beds.
• Position patients to prevent bedsores and enhance comfort.
• Support a patient-first environment in hospice care.

At Aegis Healthcare we are expanding our Certified Nursing Assistant team at our Hospice Inpatient unit at Vesta house and are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual for the role of Certified Nursing Assistant who shares our desire to make healthcare better for everyone.

COMPENSATION: $21-24 Per Hour / DOE

STATUS: Full-Time, W2 Employee

SCHEDULE: 3 days / 12 hour shifts 7:00am-7:00pm (Some weekends required)

Job Summary

As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Aegis Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional end-of-life care to our patients. As a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive exceptional care. As a CNA Caregiver, you will assist patients by providing personal care such as grooming and bathing, especially for those with limited mobility. You will support patients in eating, monitor and report vital signs and any notable patient behaviors to the medical team. Additionally, you will aid in patient mobility, including transfers between wheelchairs and beds, and routinely adjust patients' positioning in bed to prevent bedsores and enhance comfort.

• Home Health and/or Hospice experience as a CNA preferred
