BAYADA Home Health Care

is currently seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA for a Per Diem opportunity to complete home care visits to clients located throughout Calvert County. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides home health aide, skilled nursing, and rehabilitative care to clients, allowing them to receive necessary medical care while remaining at home.

This position is 2 to 3 days a week.

Home Health Aide Requirements:

• At least one year of work experience as a Home Health Aide
• Successful completion of a recognized Home Health Aide training course and certification
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
• Criminal background check completed
• Meet all state requirements
• Enjoy caring for others and working in a team environment

Job Responsibilities:

• Activities of daily living

• Bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care
• Range of motion exercises
• Transfers and use of mechanical lifting devices
