Duties:
- Check each resident routinely to ensure personal care needs are met per their wishes.
- Review patient care plans daily for updates or changes.
- Inform the nurse supervisor of any changes in residents' conditions for updates to care plans.
- Assist residents with daily needs, including activities, social programs, and transportation to appointments.
- Create a warm, patient, enthusiastic, and calm environment.
- Ensure residents’ rooms are prepared and comfortable.
- Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies.
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident information per HIPAA guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with charge nurses, the director of nursing, and administrators.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (10th grade or above).
- Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in this state.
- Passion for caregiving and enhancing residents' quality of life.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Active CPR/BLS certification.
