Duties:

• Check each resident routinely to ensure personal care needs are met per their wishes.
• Review patient care plans daily for updates or changes.
• Inform the nurse supervisor of any changes in residents' conditions for updates to care plans.
• Assist residents with daily needs, including activities, social programs, and transportation to appointments.
• Create a warm, patient, enthusiastic, and calm environment.
• Ensure residents’ rooms are prepared and comfortable.
• Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident information per HIPAA guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with charge nurses, the director of nursing, and administrators.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (10th grade or above).
• Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in this state.
• Passion for caregiving and enhancing residents' quality of life.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Active CPR/BLS certification.
