Signature HealthCARE in Memphis is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to provide direct resident care and support a compassionate care environment. The role emphasizes teamwork with licensed nursing staff, strong communication, and a patient-first approach in daily ADLs and care routines.

The CNA will assist with vital signs, mobility, and daily living activities, while maintaining safety, dignity, and facility standards.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing Assistant certification in the state where the facility operates.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team under supervision.
• Customer-service oriented with ability to work under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible and adaptable to change.
• Ability to work independently with integrity and engage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
• Promote a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for residents per facility policies.
• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and resident plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other information as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.
