Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in the state of operation.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within scope of practice defined by state regulation.
• Change bed linen and maintain supplies in resident room.
• Ambulate and transfer residents with assistive devices.
• Record resident vital signs, weights, intake/output, meals.
• Turn and position residents regularly.
• Respect resident rights and choices within care environment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in duty areas.
• Answer call lights promptly.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
