Good Samaritan Maplewood Center in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care on day shift under an RN. You will assist with bathing, dressing, meals, vital signs, and daily activities, ensuring comfort and safety for residents.

The role requires CNA certification, 16+ age, and ongoing continuing education; you will follow infection control policies and collaborate with the nursing team.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• CNA certification with State Board or in process of certification.
• 12 hours of continuing education annually.
• May require Sanford Driver's policy compliance where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, meals, and activities of daily living.
• Record vital signs and report changes to the charge nurse.
• Support infection prevention and PPE usage per policy.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and documentation of care delivered.
