Baywood Court in Castro Valley, CA is seeking a dedicated CNA for the 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm PM shift in our 24/7 skilled nursing facility. This full-time role offers competitive starting pay and a path to advancement within a not-for-profit community.

Qualifications

• New CNAs are welcome.
• Must be able to write and document in the ADL’s Form.
• Current CNA certificate or proof of passing written and skills tests.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must meet health and TB clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, exercising and range of motion.
• Assist residents with transfers and ambulation under therapist direction.
• Perform procedures such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, enemas, and admissions/discharges.
• Deliver care with dignity, autonomy and non-discrimination.
• Respond to call lights promptly and anticipate residents' needs.
