Job Summary

Provides personal nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Assists with activities of daily living, including self-care needs. Performs routine tasks and reports patient status and concerns to the RN.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (preferred)
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required in CA and HI)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• Phlebotomy Certification (preferred in CA and HI)
• Additional certifications such as audiometry, vision training, CPI, or TEAM are preferred

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including nutrition, hydration, elimination, personal care, and positioning.
• Measure vital signs such as pulse and blood pressure.
• Support patients with bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Perform clerical duties, document patient reports, and communicate assessments to the RN.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
