Job Summary

Provides personal nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse, assisting with activities of daily living and reporting patient status and concerns.

Job Requirements

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
  • Phlebotomy Certification: Preferred in CA and HI
  • Audiometry and vision training or CHDP certificate: Preferred
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): Required in CA and HI
• Facility Specific License/Certifications:
  • Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required

Essential Functions

• Assist with activities of daily living, including nutrition, hydration, elimination, personal care, and positioning.
• Take vital signs such as pulse and blood pressure.
• Help patients with bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Perform clerical duties, document patient reports, and communicate patient data to the RN.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
