Responsibilities

• Helping with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote hygiene and comfort
• Assisting residents with walking, transferring, and positioning to prevent bedsores and help maintain mobility and independence
• Assisting residents at meals with eating and drinking, ensuring they follow their dietary requirements
• Regularly measuring and recording vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration, and promptly reporting any concerns to the nursing team
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of residents' care, observations, and changes in condition
• Providing emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting social engagement and a sense of belonging
• Ensuring a safe environment by keeping resident areas hazard-free and following infection control protocols
• Positively interacting with resident families and promptly addressing any concerns
• Continuing to learn and improve knowledge and skills by staying updated with training and certifications
• Advocating for residents to ensure their needs are communicated and addressed with the care team
• Following all guidelines related to confidentiality and HIPAA
• Performing other duties to support the effective operations of the healthcare department

Our full-time CNAs are scheduled for 37.5 hours per week. Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant Certification is required. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills, a positive attitude, work well in a team, and be willing to learn.
