Location: Princeton, NJ

Address: 905 Herrontown Road Princeton, NJ

Hours: 20 hrs/week, Part-Time, Evenings, 3 pm – 11:30 pm, every other weekend. Able to work full shift hours, 2 days (first week), 3 days including a weekend (second week) – rotating.

Mandatory training: During the day shift hours for 1.5 weeks from date of hire.

Summary:

  • Assist nurses in delivering care, demonstrating respect for all patients, families, staff, and volunteers, supporting Penn Medicine’s mission of quality healthcare.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a caring attitude, represent the Medical Center positively, and adhere to dress code including ID badges. Foster courteous relations with colleagues.
  • Observe and report patient conditions, communicate effectively with patients and co-workers, and suggest patient care needs.
  • Perform and document nursing care activities as assigned, following established protocols.

Credentials:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Basic Life Saving certification for healthcare providers required.

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • No prior experience necessary.
  • Completion of hospital onsite Nursing Assistant Course during first two weeks of orientation before patient care duties.
