CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT - FULL TIME DAY SHIFT

Responsibilities

Position Summary: Assist in the care of hospital patients under the supervision of nursing staff, adhering to all standards of nursing care, and promoting teamwork.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, skin care, dressing, feeding, ambulating, transporting, and bed changing.
• Take and record vital signs, blood sugar, and I&O’s; apply ice packs, aqua K pads, and maintain bladder irrigations.
• Complete or review patient care worksheets within 30 minutes of shift change.
• Provide age-appropriate care based on physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety criteria.
• Obtain and document vital signs as instructed by the nurse.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current Oklahoma Certified Nurse Aide license.
• BLS certification required before orientation or floor work.
• Experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
