CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT-PART TIME DAY SHIFT

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, skin care, dressing, feeding, ambulating, transporting, and bed changing.
• Take and record vital signs, finger stick, blood sugar, and I&O’s, apply ice bags, aqua K pads, and maintain continuous bladder irrigations.
• Complete or review worksheet of assignments for patient care within 30 minutes of shift change.
• Provide care based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age-specific criteria.
• Obtain and document vital signs as instructed by the nurse.

Position Summary

Assist in the care of hospital patients under the direction of nursing and medical staff, adhering to all standards of nursing care and promoting teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current Oklahoma Certified Nurse Aide license.
