Job summary

Westminster at Lake Ridge is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for Memory Support to provide daily living assistance and restorative care to residents in a senior living community in Lake Ridge, VA. This full-time, on-site role offers shifts 3pm-11pm, wage starting at $18.36/hour, and benefits including disability and life insurance, PTO, holidays, a 401(k) with matching, and educational scholarships.

Strong communication, CNA certification, and 1–3 years of experience with seniors or memory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certificate is required.
• 1–3 years of clinical nursing experience; experience with seniors, dementia, or memory care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general medical and restorative care for residents daily.
• Interact directly with residents and assist with daily living needs.
• Monitor vital signs and document changes; provide comfort and mobility assistance.
• Transport residents and accompany them to activities as needed.
• Document all cares in resident records and communicate with the care team.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), One (1) to three (3) years of clinical nursing experience. Certified Nursing Assistant certificate required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Incumbents should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form. Possess high-quality verbal and written communication ability. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Knowledgeable in restorative and medical nursing principles and practices.

Job Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for providing general medical and restorative care for residents daily. Interacting directly with residents, aiding with daily living needs, monitoring vital signs, providing comfort, transportation, motivating residents to meet their goals and documenting all cares provided to resident.
