Job summary

Westminster at Lake Ridge in Lake Ridge, VA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for memory support to provide daily living assistance and restorative care in a senior living community.

Evening shifts available (3pm-11pm) with wage rate starting at $18.36/hour, plus differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. Requires CNA certification and a HS diploma or GED; experience with dementia/memory care preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with seniors, dementia, or memory care residents preferred.
• High-quality verbal and written communication ability.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certificate required, or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide general medical and restorative care to residents daily.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), One (1) to three (3) years of clinical nursing experience. Certified Nursing Assistant certificate required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Incumbents should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form. Possess high-quality verbal and written communication ability. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Knowledgeable in restorative and medical nursing principles and practices.

Job Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for providing general medical and restorative care for residents daily. Interacting directly with residents, aiding with daily living needs, monitoring vital signs, providing comfort, transportation, motivating residents to meet their goals and documenting all cares provided to resident.
