Job summary

Westminster at Lake Ridge is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant for its Assisted Living. The 27-bed senior community in Lake Ridge VA offers evening/weekend shifts, on-site work, and wage rates from $18.36 to $22.95 per hour with differentials for evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities include daily living assistance, vital signs monitoring, and documentation of care while maintaining resident comfort and dignity. CNA certification and healthcare experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certificate required or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and strong patient relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide general medical and restorative care to residents daily.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility needs.
• Monitor vital signs and document all cares accurately.
• Engage residents to support goals and comfort; provide transportation as needed.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), One (1) to three (3) years of clinical nursing experience. Certified Nursing Assistant certificate required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Incumbents should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form. Possess high-quality verbal and written communication ability. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Knowledgeable in restorative and medical nursing principles and practices.

Job Summary

This position is primarily responsible for providing general medical and restorative care for residents daily. Interacting directly with residents, aiding with daily living needs, monitoring vital signs, providing comfort, transportation, motivating residents to meet their goals and documenting all cares provided to resident.
