Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.

FTE: 0.6
Shift: 1 (Two 12-hour shifts per week, 06:30-19:00. Every 3rd weekend. Rotating major holidays)
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, provides age-appropriate care with cultural and ethnic sensitivity. The CNA assists patients with tasks outlined in their clinical competency assessment, including basic nursing skills, personal care, and basic restorative services. The CNA performs tasks learned during training or basic nursing courses at an accredited school. The CNA may be asked to provide continuous safety observation. This role reports to the Nurse Manager or Assistant Nurse Manager and the RNs on duty each shift. Other duties as assigned.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
State of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Certification required, or current enrollment in a nursing program with documentation of successful completion of basic nursing courses, including at least one acute care medical/surgical clinical rotation. AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers or equivalent required within 90 days of hire.
