Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.

FTE: 0.6
Shift: 1 (three 8-hour shifts per week, 06:30-15:00. Every 3rd weekend. Rotating major holidays)
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, provides delegated, age-appropriate care in a culturally sensitive manner. The CNA assists patients with tasks outlined in their clinical competency assessment, related to basic nursing skills, personal care, and basic restorative services. The CNA performs tasks learned during training or basic nursing courses at an accredited school. They may also provide continuous safety observation. This role reports to the Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager and the RNs on duty each shift. Other duties as assigned.
High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
State of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Certification is required. Alternatively, candidates must be enrolled in a nursing program with documentation of successful completion of a basic nursing course, including a clinical rotation in a medical/surgical setting. BLS certification from AHA or an equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
