Qualifications

Responsibilities

## Certified Nursing Assistant, Emergency Department Unit Clerk - DaysApply: Mercyhealth Hospital and Medical Center - Lake Geneva, WI: Part time: Posted Today: 2026-03235**OVERVIEW**This role combines **CNA patient care with unit clerical and administrative support**, including assisting patients, documenting care, answering phones and call lights, maintaining medical records, and processing orders and charges. The position also supports unit operations by managing supplies, assisting visitors, preparing patient charts, setting up communication devices, and floating to other units as needed. **SCHEDULE:** 24-hours per week**SHIFT:** 6am-6pm with rotating weekends **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*** Processes orders and patient charges in an accurate and timely manner.* Answers the telephone and call lights in an appropriate and timely manner, providing information or relaying messages to patients and staff.* Directs visitors to patients' rooms.* Maintains medical records of current patients.* Maintains supplies, including scanning, stocking, and ordering new supplies and disposing of expired or damaged supplies.* Provides patient care as assigned and per routine, according to standards of care, shift routines, and policies and procedures according to CNA job duties and expectations* Documents care provided according to standards.* Maintains a clean work and patient environment.* Floats to various units based on identified needs.* Participates in department and unit performance improvement activities.* Verifies accuracy of charges entered* Facilitates a welcoming environment assisting with visitor wayfinding.* Assemble patient folders and charts for unit* Rauland responder/Vocera/versus set up for new staff **EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE*** Completion of a CNA program.
