Job summary

Centers Health Care's Bushwick Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Brooklyn, NY is hiring Certified Nurse Assistants for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday). You’ll observe Residents, assist with personal care, feed residents and document intake, and help keep spaces clean and comfortable.

We offer Daily Pay through a trusted provider, a supportive team, and opportunities to grow within our 225-bed facility as part of the Centers Health Care family.

Qualifications

• Must be a CNA with current State Certification.
• Must be in good standing with the State Registry.
• Successful completion of a CNA program.
• Ability to work as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Observe residents and monitor health conditions.
• Report health issues to supervising nurse promptly.
• Assist with personal hygiene including bed baths and shaving.
• Set up meal trays and document food and fluid intake.
• Feed residents and provide nutritional supplements as needed.
• Make beds and keep rooms clean and orderly.
• Transport residents within the facility when required.
• Turn bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility data.

DUTIES:

• Observing Residents
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, etc.
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy
• Transporting Residents within the Facility
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work as a team member
• Successful completion of a CNA program
• Current CNA State Certification
• Must be in good standing with the State Registry
