Job summary

Bushwick Center is hiring Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) in Brooklyn, NY. The team supports residents with daily care, hygiene, meals, and mobility, reporting health concerns to the supervising nurse.

• Successful completion of a CNA program.
• Current CNA State Certification.

Responsibilities

• Observing Residents.
• Reporting health issues to the supervising nurse.
• Assisting with personal hygiene (bed bath, shaving, etc.).
• Setting up meal trays and documenting intake.
• Feeding Residents and providing nutritional supplements.
• Making beds and keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy.
• Transporting Residents within the Facility.
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintaining confidentiality of resident and facility data.

DUTIES:

• Observing Residents

• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse

• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, etc.

• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake

• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements

• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy

• Transporting Residents within the Facility

• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores

• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work as a team member

• Successful completion of a CNA program

• Current CNA State Certification

• Must be in good standing with the State Registry
