Job summary

Bushwick Center is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in Brooklyn, NY. The CNA will observe residents, report health issues to the supervising nurse, assist with personal hygiene, set up meals, feed residents, and keep spaces tidy.

Daily Pay is offered through a trusted provider. Requirements include teamwork, English speaking, successful CNA program completion, current state certification, and good standing with the State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Observe Residents.
• Report health issues to supervising nurse.
• Assist with personal hygiene (bed bath, shaving, etc.).
• Set up meal trays and document food/fluid intake.
• Feed Residents and provide nutritional supplements.
• Make beds and keep Residents’ space clean.
• Transport Residents within the Facility.
• Turn bedridden Residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintain confidentiality of all data.

• Observing Residents
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a Resident's personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, etc.
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds & keeping the Residents' space clean and tidy
• Transporting Residents within the Facility
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work as a team member

• Successful completion of a CNA program
