Otterbein SeniorLife in Cortland, OH, is seeking a skilled CNA/STNA to join our team. You will care for residents needing daily assistance, document care accurately, and support independence under the supervision of a nurse.

We offer flexible scheduling with weekend differentials, overtime potential, meals or meal stipend, and a supportive team in a non-profit setting focused on compassionate, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Certification required: CNA/STNA in Ohio.
• Must pass state test and be listed on Nurse Aide Registry.
• Strong documentation and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Care for the residents who need assistance with day‑to‑day tasks such as bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care.


• Provide a wide range of support services under the supervision of a nurse.


• Help our residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible while they live their daily lives.


• Provide accurate, efficient and timely care documentation.


• Perform other duties as needs arise and/or assigned.

Qualifications

• Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA certification required in the State of Ohio. Applicants must pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry.


• Experience: Good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents.
