Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Salem Transitional Care

Join Avamere as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Salem Transitional Care.

Status: Part Time and PRN

Shift: Part-Time Evenings and NOCs, plus PRN all shifts (Days 6a-2p, Evenings 2p-10p, NOCs PRN)

Shift Differential: $1.00 for Evening Shift, $1.50 for NOC Shift

Location: Salem Transitional Care - 3445 Boone Rd SE, Salem, OR 97317

Responsibilities:

  • Meet residents' personal care needs in accordance with their wishes
  • Review and update care plans daily
  • Inform supervisors of any resident condition changes
  • Assist with daily activities, social programs, transportation
  • Maintain a warm, cheerful environment
  • Ensure resident rooms are ready and comfortable
  • Participate in surveys and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA
  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Licensed CNA in Oregon
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Passion for caregiving
  • Active CPR/BLS certification

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement with SEIU 503. Avamere is an EEO employer and participates in E-Verify.
