Job summary

ARIA of Waukesha is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide daily care to our residents. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to support residents’ independence and safety, following individualized care plans.

The position requires a current Wisconsin CNA certification and a commitment to compassionate, team-centered care in a healing environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold current and active Wisconsin CNA certification.
• Provide routine daily nursing care per care plan.
• Support residents with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care aligned with the resident's care plan.
• Assist with mobility, bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Support dining, toileting, and elimination.
• Practice infection control and prevention.
• Report all changes in residents' condition to the assigned nurse promptly.
• Record entries clearly and communicate with the team.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Overview

The primary purpose of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Duties

• Resident centered care oriented including assistance with activities of daily living such as:
• Positioning, Moving, and Restorative Care.
• Mobility, Toileting, and Bathing.
• Grooming: Oral, Shaving and Nail Care.
• Dining Assistance.
• Dressing and Undressing.
• Infection control and prevention.
• Nutrition and Elimination.
• Comfort care and End of Life Care.
• Answer call lights timely and promptly.
• Report all changes in the resident's condition to your assigned nurse as soon as possible.
• Report all accidents and incidents you observe on the shift when they occur.
• Record all entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc., in an informative and descriptive manner.
• Be a team player working in coordination with all disciplines in the facility.
