Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Monteagle Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver direct resident care under licensed nursing supervision in a 150-bed facility. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor residents, and help maintain a compassionate, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state where the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Flexible, adaptable to change, and able to work independently as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing assistive devices and proper body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, and food consumption as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

How you Will make a difference
