Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Skilled Nursing / Healthcare

Job Details

  • Position:Certified Nursing Aide (CNA)
  • Location:La Porte, TX
  • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
  • Status: PRN (As needed laborer)
  • Shift Format: 8-hour shifts (6AM-2PM; 2PM-10PM; and 10PM-6AM)

Job Duties

  • Enjoy working in a skilled nursing facility setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties.
  • Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
  • Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year).
  • Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
  • Supportive and compassionate.
  • Take pride in providing high quality care.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Valid Texas Certified Nurse Aide Certification(Required)
  • Reliable transportation(Required)
  • CPR certification(Preferred)
  • Hoyer Lift Experience(Preferred)
