Job summary

MaineHealth Accountable Care Organization in Portland, ME is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant II for a part-time night shift at Maine Medical Center Portland | Postpartum. The role supports nursing care under RN supervision and performs direct and indirect care duties.

We offer sign-on bonuses for eligible CNAs: $2,500 for 0-1 year experience and $4,000 for 1+ year experience (full-time equivalent basis). Must have CNA license and BLS; 1 year of experience required.

Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant II role assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: One year of relevant experience required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Certified Nursing Assistant I role.

The pay range for this position is $20.27 to $24.36 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
