Job summary

Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for a Full-Time Nights role in the Progressive Care Unit. This 36-hour-per-week position runs 7:00 pm–7:00 am and includes assisting the Registered Nurse with patient care, activities of daily living, maintaining a safe environment, and EMR documentation.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and a valid Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant credential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant credential required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Registered Nurse with patient care in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Maintain a safe patient environment.
• Collect lab specimens as directed.
• Monitor intake and output and assist with EMR documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Certified Nursing Assistant in our Progressive Care Unit at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL.
